What benefits has our service brought to Patients and how do they rate us?

In 2016 over 9000 patients used our ultrasound service, 76% of patients completed our Patient Experience survey and over 90% would recommend us to their family or friends.

Why is patient feedback important to us?

We feel it is important to provide the highest standard of care and deliver a first class service to all our patients.  To ensure we comply with strict guidelines, regulated by the CQC, we ask each patient to complete a short satisfaction survey.  This information captures a patients experience and allows us to evaluate their responses, share best practice and continually monitor and improve our service.

How is patient feedback used?

Kleyn is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who monitors, inspect and regulate services to ensure that we meet their standards of quality and safety. 

We provide anonymised information to the CQC and this information provides them with a good understanding of the service we provide to our patients and also gains a national picture of people’s experiences.

We also work closely with each local Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) who are responsible for the planning and commissioning of healthcare services.  We provide the CCG with anonymised information to ensure the services we provide are benefitting the local population.

The types of Information we request

Our survey requests patients to rate the quality of our service and describe their overall experience. 

Some of the questions we ask include:-

  • The referral process from their GP/Consultant
  • Administration process eg. booking an appointment and convenience of appointment
  • Access to an appointment eg. within a certain time period
  • Overall quality of care and service provided by our Clinician
  • Any other comments
