Kleyn has been established since 2009 and we pride ourselves on providing a high quality, professional and friendly service to patients.
We are registered and fully compliant with the regulatory body, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and are commissioned through local CCG’s to deliver Ultrasound and MRI services. Our organisation works closely with the NHS and GP practices to ensure patients can access our services in a timely manner and find a clinic which is convenient to them.
Once we receive your referral, an appointment will be offered to you and a report is then issued to your referring GP/Clinician. We pride ourselves on meeting our patients’ needs, to do this we must meet our contractual targets which are reviewed and monitored by the CQC and CCG.
MRI - MRI stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging and as the name suggests the scanner contains a very strong magnet. This established diagnostic scanning technique uses the principles of magnetic resonance, therefore no radioactivity or X-rays are used.
Ultrasound - Ultrasound scanning is a safe and painless diagnostic tool used to examine many different parts of the body. It uses sound waves to create images of organs and structures inside your body.
X-Ray - X-rays is mainly used to look at bones or joints, it is a quick and painless procedure and is very effective in detecting a range of conditions.
There are 3 ways that you may be referred to Kleyn; through the NHS, Private Health Insurance or Self-pay routes. More detailed information can be found on our How to make an appointment page.
